This was an exciting project for me, experimenting with 3 separate images that together create a whole composition. I thought it would be an easy exercise but it proved to be more difficult in the challenge of treating each panel as an individual composition but yet flow the design throughout the panels. I hope to do more!

I have always lived along the Rocky Mountains throughout western Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. I am thrilled to still be able to live next to the San Juan Mountains on the western slope of Colorado where I have a wealth of beautiful imagery to choose from. When not painting, I spend time with my husband, 2 Jack Russells and enjoying my gardening and backyard wildlife. Creativity and fine arts has been a driving force in my life since childhood. I earned a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Colorado State University and since then have taken numerous workshops under professional artists including Jill Carver, Leah Gusterson and Mike Simpson.
