I am honored and excited to be juried into the national Icons of the West exhibition! Show opens this Friday and continues through June 30th. The Dana Gallery is in my old home town, Missoula, Montana. Missoula is a beautiful place along the northern rocky mountains and home to the University of Montana.
Since I am unable to attend the show, I sure hope the gallery posts the entries so I can check out all selected 160 iconic west paintings and sculpture.

I have always lived along the Rocky Mountains throughout western Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. I am thrilled to still be able to live next to the San Juan Mountains on the western slope of Colorado where I have a wealth of beautiful imagery to choose from. When not painting, I spend time with my husband, 2 Jack Russells and enjoying my gardening and backyard wildlife.
Creativity and fine arts has been a driving force in my life since childhood. I earned a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Colorado State University and since then have taken numerous workshops under professional artists including Jill Carver, Leah Gusterson and Mike Simpson.
