A Sunny Scene for September

I so enjoy sunny sunflowers that are so September. A robin rests on the vintage bicycle seat before he flys the coop before winter. "Along for the Ride" 12x12 original oil was delivered to Around the Corner Art Gallery in Montrose. The painting is priced $270. It is on a cradled panel with painted sides, ready to hang with a modern look and no need for a frame.

I have always lived along the Rocky Mountains throughout western Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. I am thrilled to still be able to live next to the San Juan Mountains on the western slope of Colorado where I have a wealth of beautiful imagery to choose from. When not painting, I spend time with my husband, 2 Jack Russells and enjoying my gardening and backyard wildlife. Creativity and fine arts has been a driving force in my life since childhood. I earned a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Colorado State University and since then have taken numerous workshops under professional artists including Jill Carver, Leah Gusterson and Mike Simpson.
